Horse Trek For Two (north Island) Description: Horse treks are run both in the morning and afternoon. You need to be at the lodge by 9.30am for a morning trek, or 1.00pm for an afternoon trek. After reporting to reception, you will be picked up by our courtesy vehicle, and transported (5 minute drive) to the horse trekking base. After introductions, you are matched to a horse to suit your riding ability. This is a fully-guided trek and can be tailored to suit your riding ability. Make sure to take your camera as you explore the spectacular scenery with views over the mountain, Aorangi, and the northern Ruahine Ranges. Arrive back at the Lodge for lunch.
